What is the main reason why Anyang discovered a large number of Oracle Bone Inscriptions?

As the Yin Ruins in Anyang are "big businessmen" after Pan Geng moved the capital, the Yin royal family and main nobles live here, and the activities of offering sacrifices and divination are also carried out here, which will inevitably lead to the increase of divination in Oracle Bone Inscriptions.

Basic information of Oracle bones unearthed in Yin Ruins: 1928, Academia Sinica established the Institute of History and Linguistics, which has an archaeological group under its jurisdiction, with Mr. Li Ji as the team leader. In the autumn of that year, Dong Zuobin was sent to Xiaotun for investigation, and the first excavation began in June+10, 5438. By 1937, when the Anti-Japanese War broke out, the Institute of Historical Languages and Characters * * carried out 15 large-scale excavations in Yin Ruins, and gained a lot. * * * found 24,902 pieces of Oracle bones. After the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), China Academy of Sciences, Academy of Social Sciences and relevant cultural relics and archaeological units in Henan have carried out dozens of important excavations on Yin Ruins and achieved gratifying results. By the end of last century, more than 10000 pieces of Oracle bones had been found.

Scholars believe that it is still possible for Shang Dynasty Oracle Bone Inscriptions to be unearthed from Zhengzhou Shangcheng site and Anyang Yinxu site in the future. It is also likely to be unearthed in the center of a Shang dynasty vassal state outside Zhengzhou and Anyang. Of course, from the current unearthed Oracle bones and Oracle Bone Inscriptions, Anyang Yin Ruins are the most.
