How did a book like Jitong come from?
Ji Xiang Shu Tong is an important work in the ancient Shu Shu culture in China, and its history can be traced back to the Ming Dynasty. During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, a scholar named Shan Yue wrote Shan Yue Shu Tong, the predecessor of Ji Xiang Shu Tong, on the basis of studying traditional cultures such as the Book of Changes, Eight Diagrams and Feng Shui. Once published, this book was loved by readers and became a guide to guide people's life, work and geomantic omen at that time.
Later, another man named Li Lizhong revised and expanded the General Book of Shanyue, updated and improved the original content, added more taboos about auspicious and ominous days, and formed the General Book of Ji Xiang that we see now.
In modern society, Ji Xiang and Shu Tong are still regarded by many people as life guides and geomantic omen. However, it should be noted that Ji Xiang Shu Tong is only a reference book in traditional culture, which can not completely replace modern scientific thinking and decision-making mode.
