Qin Degong moved the capital to Yongyi.

When Qin Wugong died in 678 BC, his son did not succeed to the throne and was sealed in Pingyang (now Meixian County, Shaanxi Province). Wu Gong's half-brother succeeded to the throne, namely Qin Degong. In the first year of Germany (AD 677), Qin Degong moved the capital from Pingyang to Yongyi (now Fengxiang, Shaanxi). This humble town has been the capital of Qin State for 294 years, and has experienced the 19th generation of Qin monarchs. It is the birthplace of Qin culture, the political, economic and cultural center of Qin State, and the place where Qin people thrive. Moving the capital to Yongyi was divined: future generations can drink horses in the river, that is, they can go east to the Yellow River to release their horses. This is the dream and tireless goal of many generations of monarchs in Qin State, and the divination result is just right. After moving the capital, Guo Liang and Guo Rui came to the court under the pressure of Qin (Liang Bo and Rui Bo came to the court). It can be seen that Yongyi is small, but its strategic position is more important. Liang and Rui were obviously threatened. Qin Degong held a grand sacrificial ceremony in Fuzhi, and religious culture further moved closer to the eastern civilization (that is, the Central Plains culture). Therefore, the prosperity of a country must have strong cultural support. The purpose of Qin Dongjin is to get rid of the cultural brand of ancestors and gradually integrate with the culture of the Central Plains. Qin Degong died in the second year of his reign. Although he was in charge of Qin for only two years, together with his younger brother Qin Wugong, he laid the political pattern and trend of Qin for hundreds of years. At this point, Qin Degong played an important role in the development history of Qin State.
