If you use ordinary copper coins, there is a word (positive) on one side and no word (negative) on the other, then there is no literal Yang, but a literal Yin, two opposites and one positive, which is undoubtedly Kun Gua.

If you use Gan Long and Bao Tong, there are characters on both sides, the dry word (positive) is yang, the negative word (negative) is yin, and the two opposites are shaoyang, which is dry divination.

Now you use a coin for divination, and you don't know which one. If it is a national emblem with flowers on one side, I usually take the national emblem as positive and the other side as negative (flowers are shade wood), then these two opposites and one is positive or negative. Another kind of coin can also be seen in this way.

The problem now is that there are rules for judging the yin and yang sides of copper coins, and it is still inconclusive which side is yin and which side is yang.
