What color is Shakhaki?

Shakaqi is khaki. Khaki, that is, khaki, is a color between light brown and medium light brown, so khaki is also synonymous with this color. The sand color is light camel color, which should be Shakaqi.

The origin of Shakaqi

At first, Shahaki was a unique color of tropical British uniforms, similar to the original meaning of taupe in Hindi. Today, in the common sayings of Anglo-Saxon countries, Shakaqi reminds people of brown or even beige. But the usage in the army is not the same, so it often causes confusion.

1902, when the British military uniforms stationed in Europe adopted khaki, the colors chosen were obviously darker and greener than the original khaki. All the troops of the British Empire and the American Expeditionary Force in World War I used similar colors, with only slight differences. The latter calls this color olivedrab, which may be better described.

This brown-green color was used by many countries during the two world wars. We can roughly divide 19 armies into two categories according to their colors. One is khaki and brownish green, including the United States, Britain, France, the Soviet Union, Japan, Canada, Australia, Belgium, the Netherlands, Turkey and Greece.

Another kind of gray-green clothes was first adopted by Germany, Austria, Italy, Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, Romania and Scandinavian countries. There are many different colors between brown-green and gray-green poles, and they also overlap each other to a certain extent, even in the same army.
