Overview and conception of seven copper plates

Content: The novel runs through the whole story with the mother's smile. It tells a tragic story. A poor woman had to rummage through her wardrobe in order to collect seven coppers and buy a bar of soap to wash clothes for her family. Finally, with the help of an old beggar, she collected seven copper coins, but the soap was not bought, and the hostess finally burst out laughing. It reflects the poverty and suffering of working people in Hungary in the early 20th century, and praises the profound understanding and sincere friendship between mother and child and the poor.
