A Buddhist boss asked me about my birthday and time. What's the purpose?

I think this boss is a Buddhist. He doesn't really understand Buddhism. Buddhism is not taboo about birthdays. Generally, most bosses ask others about their birthdays to see if you have good luck, that is, if your birthday conflicts with his fortune, and there is no other intention. This boss, I estimate, may be the same. Most businessmen are superstitious. But this has nothing to do with Buddhism. Buddhism doesn't believe in birthdays at all.

Believing in Buddhism does not mean being a Buddhist disciple. Only people who practice can be truly called Buddhist disciples or Buddhists. Others are just ordinary beliefs or superstitions, which are essentially different from beliefs.
