Wei Yan's dream fortune telling

Why did Zhuge Liang say Wei Yan took the blame, and why did Kong Ming cut Wei Yan?

Anyone who has read the Romance of the Three Kingdoms knows that Zhuge Liang said that Wei Yan had an anti-bone in the back of his head, and it will be anti-bone in the future. I once believed what Zhuge Liang said ―― Is it necessary to doubt what Zhuge Liang said? Although I don't think Zhuge Liang's words need to be questioned-I think people in China have such a first feeling-I never dared to question them, but I noticed this detail when I read The Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Since reading this story, I often touch the back of my head to see if there is any anti-bone and what it looks like. I remember when I was sixteen or seventeen, I touched all the protruding brain bones the size of some sparrow eggs. I'm not sure if it's anti-bone, but I feel a little uneven at the back of my head. Sometimes it is whimsical to think that modern medicine is so developed that it doesn't matter even if it has bone protection. If you have an operation, you will get it. If you don't turn your back on your bones, you will become a good person. Besides, we have learned to brainwash. Zhuge Liang can also wash, and Liu Bei is a master of brainwashing.

I didn't realize until now that the so-called anti-bone is just the face of a fortune teller. Zhuge Liang is not a professional fortune teller, but from the description in the book, we find that he is good at counting, an amateur, and a senior fortune teller and feng shui master. Generally, an outstanding strategist like Zhuge Liang has everything. Fortune-telling-psychology, geomantic omen-astronomy, geography and physics have made him a "wooden ox and a flowing horse" that modern people can hardly imitate, which he is very good at. He is perfect. He often confuses Sima Yi with applause in tactics, but he has repeatedly defeated Sima Yi in strategy and left Qishan in vain. A nearly perfect leader, who dares to question, even if we modern people question Zhuge Liang here, we will risk being scolded, not to mention people at that time. Why did Zhuge Liang say that Wei Yan turned against his bones? Throughout the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Wei Yan's "anti-bone" appeared twice, which was very impressive, but it was all fiction. Some people think that Zhuge Liang said that Wei Yan had an "anti-bone" behind his head in order to give Wei Yan a duel, because Wei Yan was originally a Ministry of Liu Biao, and later killed Han Xuan, then surrendered in Kaesong and dedicated Changsha to Liu Bei, so Zhuge Liang wanted to defeat Wei Yan's momentum. But this is also a fiction of the romance of the Three Kingdoms. Zhuge Liang never said that Wei Yan "has a bone behind his head", and one more thing, Wei Yan didn't kill Han Xuan.

Wei Yan, an old subordinate of Liu Bei, followed Liu Bei in the north and south for a long time and was Liu Bei's favorite. When Liu Bei lays Hanzhong, he must decide who will stay to guard Hanzhong. The whole army is optimistic about Zhang Fei, and Zhang Fei also thinks that he belongs to me. Unexpectedly, Liu Bei appointed Wei Yan as "Hanzhong satrap". So the whole army was surprised at that time. It can be seen that Liu Bei attached importance to Wei Yan and entrusted him with a heavy responsibility. But Zhuge Liang doesn't seem to buy Liu Bei's account, but thinks that he (Wei Yan) is a man with bones in his head. Not only Zhuge Liang, but also Sun Quan said Wei Yan, saying, "Without Zhuge Liang once, it is a disaster." If Wei Yan knew what was going on underground, he might say this sentence: "I am more wronged than Dou E."

Why did Kong Ming kill Wei Yan? Because there are only two criteria for rebellion: First, Wei Yan surrendered to Cao Cao. Second, Wei Yan wanted to usurp the throne. Wei Yan doesn't have these two articles at all. How can he be called rebellion? What is the reason for rebellion?

Chen Shou clearly pointed out in the History of the Three Kingdoms that Wei Yan only wanted to replace Zhuge Liang as the commander-in-chief of the whole army at that time, and that was all. Although Wei Yan not only defied military orders, but also engaged in personal disputes. He burned the plank road, regardless of the safety of the Shu army. This is crazy. But two other people also have responsibilities, one is Zhuge Liang, commander-in-chief of the whole army, and the other is Yang Yi, Zhuge Liang's long history, that is, Zhuge Liang's secretary-general.

There is a saying that "Wei Yan's rebellion began with Zhuge", as Zhang Zuoyao said in Liu Bei Biography, Wei Yan's unjust case was entirely planned by Zhuge Liang. Zhuge Liang held the last high-level military meeting on his deathbed, but there were three anomalies in this military meeting. First of all, in addition to Zhuge Liang himself, there were also Yang Yi, Sima Fei and Jiang Wei, the general of the Western Expedition, among whom Wei Yan was excluded. This is a very abnormal thing. Wei Yan was a general much taller than Jiang Wei at that time. He is a general in the west, a prince in the south, and a holiday. This festival was given to him by the emperor. You can act first and then act.

The second strange thing is that Zhuge Liang decided that Yang Yi would be the commander-in-chief of the Shu-Han army this time. However, there is a problem. Yang yi is the commander-in-chief of the three armed forces. Without the appointment of the court, her name is illegitimate.

The third question is strange. Zhuge Liang ordered me to retreat after my death and return to Chengdu. He appointed Wei Yan as general on the spot. But then he gave a strange order, saying that if Wei Yan did not obey the order after the whole army retreated, he would be spared. On this issue, Zhuge Liang has regarded Wei Yan as an alien.

There may be three reasons why Zhuge Liang is so crowded out and dislikes Wei Yan. The first reason, we know that Zhuge Liang was cautious in fighting all his life, but Wei Yan's fighting was completely different from Zhuge Liang's, and Wei Yan advocated surprise victory. The basic ideas are inconsistent, and the ideas are different. So Zhuge Liang thought, if I hand over the military command to Wei Yan after my death, wouldn't it be all mine? This is something Zhuge Liang can't tolerate.

The second reason, we can look at some people recommended by Zhuge Liang in "The Example", such as Guo Youzhi, Fei, Jiang Wan and Dong Yun. They are all people who follow the rules and listen to the leaders, and they are all "little sheep" characters. According to ancient standards, these people are called officials who follow the rules, and Zhuge Liang prefers them. Wei Yan is stubborn. Shanghainese call it a stubborn brain, and modern words are character. It is absolutely impossible for Zhuge Liang to like such a character.

Third, Zhuge Liang personally appointed successors, Jiang Wan, Fei and Jiang Wei. But Wei Yan's official position and contribution are much greater than his own. Zhuge Liang attacked Wei Yan and pushed him out in order to clear away obstacles and stumbling blocks for his successors. So there is an article in it.
