Evolution of xinqiao town's organizational system

From Song Dynasty to Qing Dynasty, Xinqiao belonged to the 36th Insurance Company of Huating Township, Huating County.

In the third year of the Republic of China, (19 14) was changed to Songjiang county, and Xinqiao area was transferred from Songjiang county to Sijing district.

1949 in may, the first liaison office of Songjiang county was established, and Xinqiao area was subordinate to the first liaison office. In August of the same year, the First Liaison Office was cancelled and Sijing District of Songjiang County was established, and Shiqiao District belongs to Sijing District.

1953, Xinqiao belongs to Sijing District, Songjiang County, Songjiang District, Jiangsu Province.

1957, Xinqiao township people's government was established after the withdrawal of the district and the merger of the township, belonging to Songjiang county, Jiangsu province.

1958 In March, Songjiang County was revoked and merged into Suzhou District, which belongs to Suzhou District of Jiangsu Province.

1958 September, satellite people's commune was established.

1958165438+10, Songjiang and other six counties were under the jurisdiction of Shanghai, and Xinqiao was under the jurisdiction of Songjiang county.

1April, 959, the satellite people's commune was renamed Xinqiao people's commune.

1February, 984, Xinqiao Township was established.

1On July 25th, 993, Xinqiao Township was revoked and xinqiao town was established.
