Stop and do it. Chapter 34 of Tao Te Ching (I)

The avenue is too narrow and can be controlled. It is not successful to do everything according to one's destiny and not care. Clothes support everything without giving priority, often without desire, but with a small name; Everything is not the main thing, but it can be called big. Because it doesn't think it is big, it can become big.

The Tao Te Ching contains innate gossip's spirit, as mentioned in the previous chapter, that is, anti-longevity, anti-Ming, anti-strength, anti-ambition, anti-wisdom, anti-strength, anti-wealth and anti-longevity. Doing, changing, leaving and shaking are the causes of sports, while smoking, watching, rooting and Kun are the fruits of action. Because the beginning is Yang, it becomes Yin, and one Yin and one Yang is called Tao, this chapter describes the operation of "Avenue" from the perspective of Yin and Yang, returning innate gossip to Yin and Yang.

The yang of the Tao is divergent, just like the sun emits light and heat, which spreads the sunlight on the earth, just like the misty water droplets sprayed by the watering can, and the water can be dispersed evenly after it is dispersed. This power of spreading and spreading comes from the sun on the avenue, so the avenue can be left and right, broad, omnipotent and everywhere. The avenue is scattered all over the body, everywhere, up and down, before and after.

At the same time, divergence also means big and small, tiny and nuanced, just as the sun's light and heat want to warm everything in the form of waves. If the light is too concentrated, everything will be burnt (such as focusing with a magnifying glass); For another example, the rain in Mao Mao can moisten things quietly, and heavy rain is easy to cause disasters; Another example is that soup is better absorbed than meat, and minced meat is better digested than meat. Therefore, only small can be absorbed. Only when it is thin can it be immersed. Only small, will not cause harm. This is the law of "clothes support everything": scattered and wide, equal but not biased, scattered and small, wet and clothed. Equality, impartiality, so "often without desire", moisten things quietly, so "can be small" because of "no desire" and "insignificant", because "small" and not self-righteous "big" is the interpretation of "clothes support everything without importance, often without desire, can be small".

Yang is the motivation, and the beginning of action, as mentioned in the previous chapter, begins with faith (exchange), ends with intention (separation), and begins with ambition (earthquake), that is, divergent hair, such as fish is "hair" and "scattered"; If spring is the beginning of life, everything is born and life is "moving". "Scattering" means scattering "cloth", such as sunlight shining and shining; "Move" means "give", such as action and execution. A hair, an action, a cloth and a almsgiving are almsgiving.

"giving" should be "scattered", that is, there is no difference between "distributing" and self-equality; "Giving" requires a "dynamic" trip. There are givers and receivers, and the interaction between giving and receiving is natural, as the Diamond Sutra says: "Go Ofuse". So giving is in cloth, and cloth is equal; Give what is given and execute what is given. Therefore, the focus of giving is not "giving", but naturally giving to the audience in action.

Whether it is charity, charity, dispersion or action, it is a summary of "Avenue" and a natural requirement of "Tao". Therefore, giving comes from the Yang of Tao, the divergence of Yang and the action of Yang.

Because the sun follows the Tao, the sun scatters and spreads, and there is no difference in cloth. No difference means equality, and equality has no phase. Just like the light of the sun, it does not shine because of the height of the mountain or the depth of the sea. So giving must be without phase. Wu Xiang emphasizes the state of cloth and describes the way of giving.

Because you follow the yang of the Tao, the yang is scattered and divided into small ones, so actions are not small evils, and small ones can be meticulous. Small can be called "moistening things", moistening things can be silent, and silence can do nothing. Inaction is the way of giving, which produces the greatest effect in the most subtle way and the best effect with the weakest force, so it can "cut through thorns".

Because following the Tao, Yang is just, just and ambitious, Yang is strong, strong and forced (the last chapter), and "forced with ambition" makes you brave, so you are fearless in your career and in giving.

Because it follows the path, it is objective, "often without desire", selfish, it is natural to do things, and it follows the rules when moving. Therefore, giving must be objective and obedient, follow the natural karma, do things when they come, go when they go, don't cling to them, don't give, don't force them, move organically, move with the camera, and move with the camera.

Because following the Tao, you need to practice and be "strong" (the last chapter), and "strong" needs self-improvement, such as "Tian Jian" in divination, a gentleman constantly strives for self-improvement, and "self-improvement" is naturally strong. Yang is scattered outside, scattered and empty, empty and there (just like breathing, it will naturally be inhaled when it is exhausted), and there are "self-improvement", "self-improvement" and "endless". So giving, fearless and exhausted, is naturally beneficial; Fearless and cowardly, naturally self-reliant; No matter how much you pay, how much you get; If you don't ask the result, there will be the result.

So, if you stop, you will have your own advantages, and if you use it, you will have your own results. What is the result of your merits? That is, "everything belongs to Yan and not to the Lord, so it can be called big." Great merit, good fortune, good fruit and wisdom. (See the next chapter for details)
