Wuhou Temple is the tomb of Liu Bei. Why is everyone associated with Zhuge Liang?

The present Wuhou Temple used to be the tomb and ancestral hall of Liu Bei, and Zhuge Liang hid in Mianxian County after his death. Liu Chan didn't agree to build an ancestral temple for Zhuge Liang in the capital, on the grounds that the ceremony was different.

To commemorate Zhuge Liang's spontaneous sacrifice, more than 30 years after Zhuge Liang's death, the government built an ancestral temple next to the mausoleum in Mianxian County, Shaanxi Province.

After the demise of Shu Han, Wuhou Temple was built everywhere.

Until the Tang Dynasty, Du Fu went to Wuhou Temple, which was on the south bank of Jinjiang. Therefore, Wuhou Temple was first built in Chengdu during the Southern and Northern Dynasties, adjacent to Hui Ling, but separated from each other.

Chun Zhu, the son of Zhu Yuanzhang in the Ming Dynasty, saw that the incense in Zhaolie Temple was not as good as that in Wuhou Temple. For the sake of the king's dignity, he demolished Wuhou Temple and moved Zhuge Liang to Zhaolie Temple in Han Dynasty. The reason is that Wuhou Temple is very close to Hui Ling, which is impolite and should be integrated with the monarch and his subjects. However, people have since called this temple Wuhou Temple.

It was destroyed in the late Ming Dynasty.

In the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, in order to win the hearts of the Han people and restore the figures worshipped by the Han people, Zhuge Liang was the protagonist to rebuild the Wuhou Temple.

Zhuge Liang officially joined Liu Bei for the first time.

During the Qianlong period, some officials thought it was Liubei Temple and renamed it Wuhou Temple, so they changed it back to Zhaolie Temple in Han Dynasty.

But the people don't recognize it, and it is still called Wuhou Temple.

196 1 was designated as a national key cultural relics protection unit. After argumentation, considering Zhuge Liang's position in people's minds, it was named Wuhou Temple.
