The first part is: the consequences before the target is loosened, and the second part is: Bai Zi is distracted in court. After reading the couplets, he couldn't help saying, "It's him, it's him!" He hurried into the temple, and the abbot of the temple came out and said, "Your Excellency is here, please sit in the main hall."

Hou Ying came to the hall to explain the significance of staying, but the abbot did not refuse, so he stayed. After Hou Ying ordered his servants to arrange accommodation, he immediately asked the old abbot, "I wonder who wrote the couplets at our door?" The old abbot said, "It was written by a young monk in my temple." Hou Ying quickly asked, "Is this Chen Mansheng?" The old abbot asked, "Where can a monk have a mortal name?"

When Hou Ying saw that the abbot refused to say anything, he stopped asking. Hou Ying bowed his head and said nothing, thought about it, and came up with a coup. He said to the abbot, "Long live the court officials. He gave me a lot of money. Now in Shanxi, I still have a lot of money. I want to give it to all the monks in your temple to show my devotion to the Buddha, and thank you for staying and eating. What do you think? " When the old abbot heard that he would give money, he read happily, "Amitabha, good, good!" " I wonder if adults are wearing charity law? Hou Ying said, "I will give everyone twelve taels of silver according to the roster of monks in the temple. "。 "The old abbot immediately ordered a young monk to bring the roster. Call all the monks in the temple.

Hou Yingfa looked at every monk carefully, but didn't see Chen Sheng's face. At the end of the roster, he found that a monk named Huiru didn't come to get it, so he asked the old abbot, "Why didn't Master Huiru come to get it?" The abbot said, "Huiru has just come to the temple and is copying scriptures carefully across the room. He is withdrawn and never meets laymen, so forget it if he doesn't come. "

Hou Ying didn't see Chen Sheng for charity, and he was very angry. When I heard that monk Huiru had just arrived and there were couplets on the door, Hou Ying thought that Chen Sheng must be Huiru. So he begged the old abbot, "Old Zen master, to tell you the truth, I have a classmate friend named Bobby Chen in Xiaguan. We go to Beijing to take the exam together. Because I didn't get it, I fell into an empty net in a rage. Officials searched for him for many days, and they didn't find him until they saw the couplet on the door in your temple today. I learned that he had become a monk in this temple. Please ask the abbot to see the Buddha and ask my brother to see him. " Hou Ying knelt down to the old abbot. When he knelt down, the old abbot felt sour. He quickly stepped forward to help him up and said, "Get up quickly and I'll take you to the study room to see him."

When he came to the Confucian classroom, Hou Ying saw that Chen Sheng was absorbed in copying scriptures. He stepped forward, took his hand and said, "Good brother, why did you go this way?" Tears came out of his eyes when he spoke. He cried and said, "I don't think you will fail the exam because of your talent, but you will fail the exam." I must give you a formal position. Why do you want to go this way? " Chen Sheng folded his hands and said, "Amitabha, I'm monk Huiru. Adults mistook one for another. " Later, I copied his scripture again. Hou Ying said, "Brother Chen, if you don't go home, you ask me to see my uncle, aunt and nephew. What can I say?" Go home, your talent will not be in vain. "Chen Sheng said," Chen Sheng is dead, worldly desires are broken, and everything is empty. Stop supporting your family. "

Seeing that the persuasion was unsuccessful, Hou Ying said, "Even if you become a monk, do you still want to become a monk in our hometown?" Tell you what, I'll build you a temple in my hometown, and you can move back. "After that, I left the menstrual room with tears in my eyes.

After three years in office, Hou Ying was an official and upright. The emperor gave him twenty-two thousand gold and told him to go home and build a mansion, but he didn't build it. A spacious temple was built in front of Chen Sheng's hometown. Therefore, the temple is close to Qinghe Spring, hence the name "Longquan Temple". After the completion of the temple, he specially sent people to Guangci Temple, invited Chen Sheng, and asked him to be the abbot in the temple.

After Bobby Chen returned to his hometown, his family often went to the temple to persuade him, but his mind was made up, and no matter how he persuaded him, he would never return to secularism.
