Myths and legends of Lingshan

Lingshan Scenic Area is located at the eastern foot of Taihang Mountain, northwest of Qilian County in northern Henan 10 km, with a tourist area of 10 km2. The King Nuwa Palace in Yinzhou, written in the first chapter of the Romance of the Gods, is located in Lingshan. Lingshan Temple is located in the mountains, with towering peaks and green arches, protected by Longhu Mountain. Lingshan and Shantou Mountain echo each other from afar, just like lotus flowers blooming in the daytime and holding the stars of the moon at night. Rocky rocks, clear springs in Quxi, winding, changing scenery, green trees and red flowers, birds and flowers, pavilions and pavilions set each other off, and the scenery is beautiful. It can be described as "Lingshan Miao Temple, a clear spring washes the heart". According to the Records of Qixian County in the Ming Dynasty, Lingshan Temple was built in the ordinary period of Liang Dynasty (A.D. 520), and was founded by eminent monks who had been the owner of Zhaotong Temple and guided the national monks and nuns for 40 years. Rebuilt in the Kaiyuan period of the Tang Dynasty, it is one of the earliest temples established in Qixian County. The temple is mainly Lingshan, hence the name Lingshan Temple. The Tang and Song Dynasties were the heyday of Lingshan Temple. During this period, the temple covers an area of nearly 35 hectares, with more than 200 monks, ancient chimes, wooden fish, tourists and incense sticks. The reputation of Lingshan Temple spread far and wide, shocking the imperial court. In the sixth year of Yonghui in Tang Gaozong (AD 655), the temple elder Faru was called to Chang 'an to inquire about Buddhism. Pei Qian, the deputy envoy of Shandong Province in the Ming Dynasty, made a special trip from Shandong to Lingshan Temple, and wrote a book A Trip to Lingshan Temple and three poems handed down from ancient times. Li Jixian, Ming Taizu, retired from Tangyin, and heard that Lingshan Ancient Temple has excellent water and rocks, so he made a special trip here. He wrote with emotion: "I can never get tired of seeing the Lingshan in this temple, but I have something to say." Why? It is amazing to think that it is amazing because of its richness. " Hui Yu, a county magistrate in Ming Dynasty, once summarized Lingshan Temple into ten scenic spots: First, there are few dangerous rocks; Second, the peaks are green; Third, persimmons are mobile; Fourth, the pot is full of water; Fifth, the rocks are stormy; Sixth, nine days of singing; Seventh, the huge cliff is full of jiaozi; Eight pairs of swords cross the autumn; Ninth, the dragon of the East China Sea; Tenth, tigers roar in the western hills. The scenery is picturesque and vivid. Lingshan Temple has beautiful natural landscape and charming human landscape. It can be called the wonder of China, the first peak of Nuwa in the world, in Lingshan Temple. In front of Tiger Peak in Lingshan Temple, there is a 70-meter-high Nuwa Peak with a bun on its head and a kind face. She wore comfortable sleeves and bent her elbows on her chest. Looking back at the earth is like looking at the truth, goodness, beauty and false ugliness of the world. If you pray silently for all beings, it is really a wonderful thing. Why does Nu Wa live here? According to legend, in those days, Nu Wa made people out of loess, refined colored stones to make up the sky, cut off four pillars, leveled floods and killed wild animals, so that people all over the world could live and work in peace and contentment. Later, she came to Lingshan to fix the truth and spend her old age with the world. One day, Yin came here to burn incense, praying for the safety of the country and people, feeling embarrassed when she saw the old face of Nu Wa, and left obscene poems in front of Nu Wa Palace. Nu Wa was furious when she saw it. She left the palace and ran to the top of Nanshan. She sighed in the face of heaven and earth: "I created human beings, and I made them cool and hot." Who knows that Zhou Wang can't do the right thing and dare to humiliate me? It is tolerable, but it is unbearable! " Today, Nu Wa is still standing here, looking at the world, so the world calls this mountain Nu Wa Peak. The building opposite Nu Wa Peak is Nu Wa Palace, where people build Nu Wa Niang Temple to worship her. According to the records of Qixian County since the Ming Dynasty, Nuwa Palace has been restored in past dynasties, and the current Nuwa Palace has also been restored in recent years. The palace is three square meters wide and very magnificent. The palace is decorated with colorful statues of Nu Wa. Nu Wa is an ancient goddess with magical power. She is respected by the world as the creator, ancestor and protector. On the fifteenth day of the third lunar month, it is the Christmas of Nu Wa. She went to Huoyun Palace to drive away Fuxi, Yan Di and Xuanyuan. When she saw the poem inscribed by Zhou Wang on the white wall, her eyebrows were upside down and she sent Su Daji to destroy the country. Nu Wa founded the marriage system. She thinks it's too slow to make people by kneading soil, so men and women cooperate to let people know the method of "making people" and rely on their own strength to carry on the family line and reproduce. Therefore, the first matchmaker in China was regarded as a matchmaker by the late Buddha. Married people without children came here to have children. The pregnant peak is another wonderful work endowed by nature to Lingshan Temple. The two connected hills look like a sleeping beauty, with fluttering hair and serene expression. The bulging belly gave birth to the ancient city's eternal singing civilization. A poem praised: "I have never seen a pregnant posture, and Lingshan is unique. Sleeping on a pillow is a flower, and wind is a willow to rain. Holding the sun, moon and stars silently, I always miss autumn in my dreams. Who says surrogacy is fruitless? Give birth to red sunshine in Kyushu. " There is a natural grotto on the mountainside of Lingshan Mountain, which is 8 meters high and 30 meters deep. The stalactites in the grottoes form several lifelike Buddha statues attached to the cliff, which are very mysterious and unique, hence the name of the ancient Buddha cave. According to legend, this cave is the place where the giant Buddha of Lingshan Temple dreams. There is a large natural Buddha statue about 2 meters high on the mountain wall of Dongkou. It has a kind face, two earlobes and two shoulders, full figure and vivid image. Because the entrance to the cave is narrow, it is necessary to stick to the Buddha's heart when entering the cave, so there is a cloud: "The Buddha's heart has me, my heart has the Buddha, and the Buddha's heart is in harmony." Therefore, people call this Buddha the Mutual Heart Buddha. The entrance of the ancient Buddha is engraved with a palindrome, which is intriguing: "Lingshan Temple is full of spirits, and the ancient Buddha cave is full of ancient buddhas". This cave is long and narrow, winding and secluded, with a faint aura, just like a maze, which is fascinating. Sticking to the wall and squeezing the hole, the chill in the hole attacks people, refreshing and abnormal, and the mystery is endless. I slipped out on my back and felt refreshed. A folk proverb says, "Anyone who goes to Lingshan must drill an ancient Buddha cave. If you ask why? Fitness is sick again. " "Drill Foye Cavern and never get sick." Therefore, tourists all enter the cave to enjoy its wonders. According to the Records of Qixian County in the Ming Dynasty, there are eight scenic spots in Qixian County: "Qiyuan Bamboo Green, Shui Sheng Qing, Lutai Chaoyun, Giant Bridge jathyapple, Yiwotan Sound, Chao Ge Wild Color, Qingyan Wonderland and Lingshan Longquan." Among them, Lingshan has two exclusive views, namely "Sheng Qingshui" and "Lingshan Longquan". The mountain atmosphere of Lingshan is very beautiful in the water. In the gap between the mountain streams and canyons, there are tinkling and gushing springs, which the ancients called clear water. Longquan in Lingshan refers to the Black Dragon Pool in Lingshan, located 500 meters northwest of the temple. Here, there are strange peaks and valleys, the mountains are tall and straight, the springs are surging and dancing, the blue waves are rippling and the scenery is pleasant. For thousands of years, literati and poets have been in an endless stream, making the finishing point, leaving many colorful poems and cliff stone carvings. Sun Zhenglan, an imperial envoy of the Ming Dynasty, left a poem on the wall of Wan Ren: "The mountains are bright and blue, the jade in spring is flying, and the three people are six or seven sages, and the outstanding people are the same through the ages." According to records, the Longwang Temple was built here before the Ming Dynasty. There are three caves under the temple, and there are faucets in them, from which the spring water flows, and the sound rushes, and the valley responds like a dragon. There is a river behind Lingshan Temple called Dai Yuhe. The river is sweet, refreshing, refreshing and memorable. Dai Yuhe suddenly overflowed from the Black Dragon Pool in Lingshan, bypassing the Millennium Temple. The river gurgles, just like the sound of strings ringing or waves lapping on a cliff, showing a rapidly changing natural picture. Before Yudai River reached Shengda Peak, a lake named Bailongtan was formed. The clear lake is an ideal place for people to go boating and fishing. Come out of the temple, go west along the narrow path, cross the magpie bridge, cross the pear tree slope and climb the steps to Guanyin Cave. Located on the cliff, this cave is 9 meters deep and more than ten feet high, and there is a Guanyin statue in it. Exquisite carving, lifelike. People who come to ask questions about some mazes are in constant stream. According to the Ming "Qi County Records", "Longwang Temple, seeking ghosts and gods in the drought." The Map of Qixian County in Qing Dynasty said: "There is Lingshan Temple under Lingshan Mountain, which was built in Pu Liang and in the prosperous Tang Dynasty." During the Liao and Jin Dynasties, monasteries expanded, with many monks, wooden fish, light aura, many tourists and flourishing incense. According to legend, Lingshan Temple is famous far and near, and it is amazing to hear the sky. The fairies went down to Lingshan Temple to listen to the sound of wooden fish and enjoy the beautiful scenery on earth. Today, the fairy's body is still hidden on the cliff, which is endless fun. It's called "the fairy embedded in the wall". Standing on the peak of the Great Sage in Wan Ren, there is a natural statue of the Monkey King, looking at the golden body of the Monkey King from a distance. A pair of bright eyes and a pair of drooping ears symbolize great happiness and wealth. Wearing a golden dress and a golden crown, it is dignified and solemn. His bun, brow bone, chest and abdomen, neck and lower limbs are clearly visible. The whole appearance is seamless, lifelike and natural, and the world marvels at the magic of nature. According to legend, the Monkey King left water curtain cave-Guo Hua, and traveled all over the world, looking for a mountain with a square inch of a mourning platform, worshiping Buddha, wandering immortals and seeking holiness, and seeking a magical way to live forever. One day, he passed by the ancient city and sang a song. He learned that there is a Lingshan Temple in the west of the city, which is a holy place of Buddhism, and there is a Nuwa Palace that refines the stone to make people. I think, isn't Lingshan the square-inch mountain of Lingtai? Nu Wa, the ancestor of mankind, is here? Why don't you go? So, he came to Lingshan Temple and heard the sound of wooden fish before entering the temple. The Buddhist scriptures murmured, scratching his head and smiling. When he was happy, he thought that Buddhism should be quiet, dressed up and respectful. He didn't dare to go forward, so he sat on the top of the mountain and listened to the Buddhist scriptures, which was called "Wukong listening to the scriptures". Lingshan Temple has a long history, integrating beautiful landscapes, ancient cultural landscapes and magical legends. This is very pleasant and interesting. Traveling to Lingshan can make you feel relaxed and happy. Lingshan is also rich in all kinds of wild vegetables. These wild vegetables are nutritious and delicious. After playing, sitting on a stone bench and eating a big wild vegetable meal will make you feel very interesting.

According to historical records, Kuling is a legendary place where Nuwa kneaded soil to make people and refined stones to make up the sky. On the cliff of Xishan, stands a natural and exquisite Nuwa Peak. She is more than 80 meters tall with a high bun, a prominent nose and a slightly upturned chin. Her facial outline is very vivid, and her expression is still preserved in the samurai temple in Jiaxiang, Shandong Province.

When you come to Nuwa Palace, you can see the beautiful goddess Nuwa, and you can also see the poem that Yin couldn't help but write when she witnessed the beauty of Nuwa here: "The scenery of Fengbao is beautiful, and it is made of mud and gold." Singing in the distant mountains, dancing sleeves reflect Xia and Shang Dynasties. Pear blossoms bring rain for enchanting, and peony cages are full of cigarettes. But you have to be charming and take it back to Changle to serve the king. According to folklore, Nu Wa made man with loess and filled the sky with five-colored stones. She once left two strange stones in the world, one became Jia Baoyu in A Dream of Red Mansions, and the other remained in Guling, becoming the treasure of the mountain in Guling Town-colorful sacred stone. Colored stones were found at the peak of Nuwa Peak on March 5th, 19981Lunar New Year, Nuwa's birthday. There is a poem: if you don't meet the heaven, stand in front of it. Spirituality is natural beauty, and it is foggy in spring, summer, autumn and winter. It can be said that the colorful stone is vividly depicted, and I believe you will be fascinated by her mystery after seeing it with your own eyes.
