The origin of playing cards is uncertain, but it is generally believed that it originated from China Ye Zi's drama in the Southern Song Dynasty in the12nd century and13rd century. Another widely accepted saying is that it is said to have evolved from tarot cards.

The early playing cards were introduced to Europe from Egypt at the end of 14.

From bachelor of arts to ordinary people, they are always happy. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, "Ye Zi Xi" had 40 cards in each deck, which were divided into 4 categories. From the late Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China, playing cards were about 8 cm long and 2 cm wide, so people called them playing cards. Before and after the founding of the People's Republic of China, card gambling was still popular in Chaoshan area, and the gameplay gradually diversified from simple arrangement. Poker is not only made of paper, but also made of many other materials. These poker cards are all used for collection and are rarely used for playing.
