The Origin of Kuixing Palace in Kuixingyan, Yongchun

Kuixingyan Kuixinggong in Yongchun is one of the main gods in Chinese folk beliefs. Kuixinggong is regarded as a noble and auspicious god, and is often enshrined in temples or folk. There is a legend about the origin of Kuixingyan Kuixinggong in Yongchun.

According to legend, there was a scholar named Lin Yunxiang in the Ming Dynasty who felt very disappointed and helpless after the failure of the imperial examination. He complained that he was born with a hard life and could not succeed in his career. One day, he dreamed that a man who described majesty motioned him to make a strange gesture. Lin Yunxiang suddenly saw a bright star shining with hope in the sky after posing in his dream.

The next day, he told his friend about this strange dream and asked his friend to help him consult the local government. When people in the government heard about this dream, they thought it was said that the advice desk in the Ming Dynasty lacked a suggestion. When they got home, they were killed by his son. Therefore, the local government judged it as a private business of Yin and Yang. After that, the government sent someone to consult a local experimental doctor named Shi. At that time, the trial doctor had not been to the nearby county town for 16 years to get to know it himself. Later, after they delivered such things as testimonies, they arrived at Yan Kuixing Gong in Shangdi. After listening to Zhu and others' confessions in detail, Shi expressed his support to his colleagues around him. He explained in detail to the men and women in the catwalk team that the doctor dressed as a judge and told the defendant owner of Pearl that she wanted to find a fortune teller from that map to sort out the process.
