The origin of Jinxiang county

Jinxiang has a long history. According to archaeological discoveries, ancient humans appeared in Jinxiang about 10,000 years ago. During the archaeological investigation in 198 1 spring, the Shandong Provincial Archaeological Team excavated a considerable number of stone tools and bone implements at the Liu Zhuang site in Buji Jihu Town, Jinxiang.
