In Master, I salute you from the bottom of my heart, Mencius refers to Meng Haoran. A master is a title of respect for a man of noble character. Master, I cheer you from the bottom of my heart. Your fame has risen to the sky. In the rosy youth, you gave up the importance of hats and chariots and chose pine trees and clouds; Now whitehead.

Drunk moon, sage of dreams, bewitched by flowers, you turned a deaf ear to the emperor. Gaoshan, how I long to reach you, that's all!

Creative background:

This poem was written roughly in the period when Li Bai lived in Anlu, Hubei (727-736 AD). At this time, he often traveled to Han Xiang and forged a deep friendship with Meng Haoran, who was twelve years older than him. Yu Xianhao believes that this poem was written in 739 AD (the 27th year of Kaiyuan), when Li Bai met Meng Haoran again in Xiangyang.
