Qinglong Palace (commonly known as Longwang Temple) was originally named Seiryuji. It was founded in Yongle period of Ming Dynasty. In the 18th year of Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty (A.D. 18 13), the emperor sent a Taoist temple in northern Henan as a real envoy to preach the imperial edict, set aside palace silver for reconstruction and renamed it Qinglong Palace. After the Qing Daoguang and Guangxu Dynasties, after several additions and repairs, it became a building complex with the architectural style of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and it has been completely protected so far. In September 2000, it was identified as a provincial cultural relics protection unit by the Henan Provincial People's Government.
