How did everyone recognize Zhangshu Niang?

In Changhong Township, Hua Kai County, people used to call a century-old camphor tree "Mom of Dad", a single camphor tree "Mom of Cinnamomum camphora" and two trees together called "Mom of Dad". Old camphor trees generally grow at the entrance to the village. Cinnamomum camphora is a symbol of longevity and the embodiment of gods in people's hearts. Therefore, when a child is born, Changhong Farmhouse needs to find a protector for the child in order to bring good luck to the child and let the child grow up safely and smoothly, and is used to holding the child to worship the old lady camphor tree. The ceremony to pay homage to the mother of Zhangshu is to choose an auspicious day in advance on the first and fifteenth day of junior high school. In the morning, biological parents or elders will hold the child, cover the child's head with a square towel, hide a red paper document in his chest clothes, and then press the paper-cut birthday girl and cypress branches on it to say some auspicious words. The man is carrying a wool flower basket with some sacrificial supplies in it. A woman kneels in front of the memorial tablet in a small temple with her child in her arms, kowtowing to the camphor tree and being her mom and dad. After the worship, the men poured wine on the roots of camphor trees, pressed red paper cypress branches above the memorial tablet, and named the children with "camphor trees". Some simply named the boy Cinnamomum camphora or Cinnamomum camphora root and the girl Cinnamomum camphora. Therefore, there are many names with the word "Zhangshu" in our area, and the adopted daughter of Zhangshu will go to worship the old mother of Zhangshu on holidays.
