Xiangyun County belongs to Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan Province.

Xiangyun County, alias Yunnanyi, is a county under the jurisdiction of Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan Province. It is located in the west of central Yunnan Province, bordering Dayao, Yao 'an and Nanhua counties in Wei Chu in the east, Midu County in the south, Dali City in the west and Binchuan County in the north. It covers an area of 2425 square kilometers.

The county has jurisdiction over 8 towns, 2 townships 139 village (neighborhood) committees,110/village (neighborhood) groups (February 20021year) with a total population of 480,000 (end of 2020). In February, 2002 1 and1were identified as the second batch of demonstration counties (cities, districts) to deepen the reform of small reservoir management system.

Ningzhou was set as the capital in the early Jin Dynasty, and Yunnan County belonged to Ningzhou. In 583, the Sui Dynasty abandoned the county, established Nanning as the viceroy, and transferred to Yunnan County. 1929 abandoned highway, directly under the jurisdiction of the county. 1956, Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture was established, and Xiangyun County belongs to Dali Prefecture.

Yunnan is a provincial administrative region, and the Tropic of Cancer runs through the south. It is adjacent to Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Guizhou Province in the east, across the river from Sichuan Province by Jinsha River in the north, and adjacent to Xizang Autonomous Region in the northwest corner.
