Xu Yulin (1946 ——1991) is a native of Shijing Town, Baiyun District, Guangzhou. 65438-0957 studied in Guangzhou Hongshu Road Middle School, and was admitted to Guangdong Cantonese Opera School from 65438-0959 to study Xiaowu and the performing arts of Hualien and Ugly Girls.

In the following more than 20 years, Xu Yulin successively served as the main actor in several performance groups of Guangzhou Cantonese Opera Troupe, starring in dozens of plays, mainly including modern plays Shajiabang, Dufu Mountain, Orchid Garden Enqiu, Li Shuangshuang, Several Unpopular, Autumn Moon Juanjuan, Mountain Country Fengyun and costume drama Selling Oil Lang to Sell Flower Girls Alone.

Xu Yulin's acting skills are exquisite, he is good at Xiaowu's performing arts, and at the same time pays attention to the expression of characters' inner feelings. The artistic images of the characters he created on the stage of Cantonese opera are full and full, and the masculine perspective has left a distinct and profound impression on the audience. He also has a superb actor appearance, magnificent momentum and heroic spirit, and is a rare martial arts talent with both color and art on the stage of Cantonese opera. After 1980, he went to the United States, Singapore, Hong Kong and Macao with the delegation to perform, and his skills were well received by overseas, Hong Kong and Macao audiences.
