Precautions for raising pigs:

1, the outer wall of pigsty should be thick and tight.

In winter, the back wall, gable and front wall of pigsty should be equipped with thermal insulation facilities. To this end, crop straws can be piled up and temporarily built with clay blanks. When the pigsty is just built, it is best to thicken the surrounding walls. The old pigsty should close the residual gaps in the walls, doors and windows in time.

2. Increase the temperature of the pigsty

There are many ways to raise the temperature of pigsty, but there are four economical, simple and practical methods.

First, cover the open pigsty with plastic film. It is best to cover with double-layer plastic film. Although the cost is higher than that of single-layer plastic film, the insulation effect is better. This method is suitable for pig houses and non-lactating sow houses.

Second, the closed pig workshop implements boiler heating.

Third, open pigsty for heating, covered with plastic film. Fourth, heating and electric heaters are suitable for nursing sow houses.
