1, Guangxi Opera

Guangxi Opera is one of the main operas in Guangxi and one of the local operas in Guangxi. Commonly known as Guiju Opera or Guiban Opera, it is a kind of opera sung in Guilin dialect. It's exquisite, appropriate and lively. It conveys feelings by means of facial expressions and postures, and pays attention to shaping characters with delicate and realistic performance techniques. Even martial arts dramas are mostly literary.

Popular in places where northern dialects (Mandarin) are spoken in Guangxi, such as Guilin, Liuzhou, Hechi and Nanning, where Mandarin is spoken, it is deeply loved by Guilin people. Guangxi Opera was introduced into Guilin in Jiaqing period of Qing Dynasty, and after a period of language changes, it gradually evolved into Guangxi Opera.
