Overview of Wanglou Town

Wanglou Town belongs to Yandu District, Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province, and is located in the west of Yancheng City. Town People's Government is located in Loulu Road, 30 kilometers west of the municipal government. It borders Qiuduo River and Xuefu Town in the east, Longgang Town in the south, Baoying County in the west and Yanhe Town in jianhu county in the north. It is a thousand-year-old town with a long history and traditional culture, and is known as the "land of plenty", "hometown of casting" and "hometown of national dance". 1957, Wang Lou Township was established, named after the resident building Wangzhuang; 1958 was designated as Wang Lou people's commune; 1983, which was reorganized as Wang Lou Township; 1987, the township was withdrawn and Wanglou Town was built. With superior geographical location and convenient transportation, Yanjin National Defense Highway runs through the town and is close to Xinchang Railway, National Highway 204, Yan Ning First Class Highway, Quiet Salt Expressway, Beijing-Shanghai Expressway and Yancheng Nanyang Airport.
