The Seventh Origin of Wulian Village Name: Jingjiagou

Jingjiagou (Hubu Township): From every village in the west of Songduo Village to the southeast, Jingjiagou Village is located. During the Chongzhen period of the Ming Dynasty, Lin moved to this village. Because the village was surrounded by mountains and low-lying, it was like being in a well, so it was named. There is an ancient tree in Jingjiagou, and the scar hemp tree in Chahe Mountain Villa (Yangjiayu Village) belongs to Xiaoye Pu Shu. It is said that it has a history of nearly 200 years.

On the pass of Dongshan Mountain in Jingjiagou, there is a mountain village named Hanazono Sakura Gate. There is also a village in the north of Jingjiagou Village, named Weiyuan because reeds used to grow here. In the northeast of Jingjiagou Village, there is a mountain called Heishizi Mountain, which is opposite to Zhushan Mountain. In the north of Heishizi Mountain, there used to be a nun. The village was named Guzi 'an after buddhist nun. The villagers were disrespectful. There were many pine trees here, so it was changed to Songhuading.

Few villagers live here, and the vegetation is lush. Pine, Robinia pseudoacacia, Castanopsis kawakamii (a tree for raising wild silkworms, belonging to oak trees) are mainly planted, and crops such as millet, mung bean and sweet potato are abundant, as well as silkworm cocoons, mites (an insect in Castanopsis kawakamii), grasshoppers and cicadas.
