Brief introduction of Mianyang town

Mianyang Town belongs to Wuhua County, Meizhou City, Guangdong Province, located at the southernmost tip of Wuhua County, adjacent to Jiexi County, with a total area of 254 square kilometers and 45 kilometers away from the county seat. Mianyang Commune/KLOC-0 was established in September, 1958, changed to district in June, 1983, and changed to town in March, 1986. In 2004, villages and towns merged, and the former Jiangqiao Town was merged into mian yang Town. At present, the mountain area of the town is 260,000 mu, and the cultivated land area is 46,000 mu.
