Classification of Taoists (Religions) It is said that Taoism can be divided into two major religions, namely, monarchists in the Qing Dynasty and monarchists in the Fire Kingdom.

Classification of main sects: Quanzhen Taoism (becoming a monk) and Zhengyi Taoism (staying at home).

Among orthodox Taoists, it is divided into fire-dwelling Taoists and scattered Taoists.

Fire-dwelling Taoist refers to a Taoist who has a fixed Taoist view (religious place); Scattered Taoist priests refer to Taoist priests who have no fixed Taoist temple (religious place), mostly of ancestral home.
