Brief introduction of Qingyuan Mountain

Qingyuan Mountain is located in the northern suburb of Quanzhou City, Fujian Province, Qingyuan Street, Fengze District, Quanzhou City, Fujian Province, commonly known as "Beishan". The main scenic spot is 3 kilometers away from Quanzhou city. The biggest highlight of the whole mountain is Laojunyan at the foot of the mountain, which is a sculpture of Laozi. It is lifelike and has a history of thousands of years. It is the largest existing Taoist stone carving in China with the most unique carving skills and the oldest age.

Surrounding attractions are: Tomiyan, Jingshan Academy and Quanzhou Flower Harbor.

Tomiyan 1

Amitabha Rock is a wood-like building built in the 24th year of Yuan Dynasty (1364), which contains the statue of Amitabha carved in Yuan Dynasty. There is a "Buddha" stone carving under Tomi Rock during the Qianlong period of Qing Dynasty.

2. Jingshan Academy

According to the introduction of the former site of Jingshan Academy, there is a stone like a mirror under Daqi Mountain in the northeast suburb of Quanzhou, so it is also called Jingshan. The historian of Ming Dynasty built a beautiful house at the foot of the mountain. In his later years, he wrote books and lectured here, named Jingshan, later called Jingshan Academy, and later renamed Xiushan Academy.
