Why are temples in China linked to money everywhere?

1. The temple is the location of the Three Treasures. This is the blessing of all beings, where we plant the blessings of the afterlife. The donation box is a voluntary donation. Because the state stipulates that Buddhism is a religion run by itself, all expenses are raised by itself, and money is needed for building temples, printing scriptures, releasing people, charity, stupas, Buddhist websites, Buddhist publications, Buddhist television stations and so on.

2. Tickets are collected by the tourism department, and Buddhist learners who hold "conversion certificates" in temples all over the country are free.

3. There are some temples adhering to the spirit of primitive Buddhism, such as Dabei Temple in Haicheng, which do not accept any donations. Monks mean to accept food, clothing and other offerings to practice the original Buddhist spirit of the Buddha, which is worth promoting.

Of course, among monks, there are indeed fortune-telling lottery to collect money, which is against the regulations of Buddhist Association. But many of them are fake monks, so we should distinguish them clearly.
