What does the scissors solution mean?

"Scissors Dafa" is a fascinating way to find cats that has been circulating in the cat circle for a long time. Its origin is not elegant, as follows:

1) Put a bowl full of clean water on the stove and stove, and put a pair of scissors flat on the bowl.

2) Open the scissors, point to the door or window, and then call the cat's name.

3) When the cat comes back, grab the cat's four legs and turn around the table/stove three times to show your gratitude.

4) Don't move the water bowl and scissors until you find the cat. Because after each move, it is equivalent to starting to take effect again (the previous one is equivalent to being invalid).

In fact, Scissors Dafa is a superstitious legend, which can be explained by survivor bias. Survivor bias means that when the information is obtained only from survivors, then this information may have a bias different from the actual situation.

All the cats released are survivors, and it is unscientific to judge only by survivors. Those neglected non-survivors, that is, those cats that are still lost, are the key, and they will never come back. This also creates an illusion, as if there is a necessary connection between finding the solution with scissors and finding the cat, but it is just a coincidence.
