There is a beautiful legend about the origin of Sheyang Island. In ancient times, there were ten suns in the sky, which made everything dry and human beings suffered. An archer named Hou Yi decided to kill these people. Starting from the East China Sea, he drew his bow and arrow, "whoosh, whoosh, whoosh"-three arrows shot down three suns, two fell into the water and the other was teetering. From then on, whenever the weather is clear and the sunset is oblique, you can see three suns, one in the sky and two in the water. This is the peculiar "Three Yang Ding" landscape.
