Where is the place to hang wishes in Youmin temple?

Located in Minde Road, donghu district, Nanchang, Jiangxi, opposite the gate of the quiet and beautiful Bayi Park, there is an ancient temple which is over 700 years ago/kloc-0. This is Youmin Temple, which was built in the first year of Liang Taiqing in the Southern Dynasties (AD 547).

Youmin Temple was built in the first year of Taiqing Dynasty by Julian Waghann Geyukan of the Southern Liang Dynasty. There is a giant Buddha Zhenlong in the temple, formerly known as the Big Buddha Temple. There is a bronze Buddha statue in the back hall, which is 10 foot high and weighs 36,000 Jin.

During the Kaiyuan period of the Tang Dynasty, it was renamed Kaiyuan Temple. In the fourth year of Dali (AD 769), Yi Dao, a famous monk, learned Buddhism from Hengshan Mountain in Nanyue, and went to Kaiyuan Temple to open a Dojo. He recruited disciples to teach Buddhism, and successively trained more than 30 disciples/kloc-0, all of whom were heads of families. Since then, Buddhist temples have been destroyed and restored, and have been renamed Shanglan Temple, Chengtian Temple, Nengren Temple and Yongning Temple.

During the Shunzhi period of the Qing Dynasty, the Buddhist temple was rebuilt and renamed Youqing Temple. It was rebuilt again during the Qianlong period. After the Republic of China, it was rebuilt and renamed "Youmin Temple". After liberation, after renovation, the site of Nanchang Buddhist Association was built.

1957, Youmin Temple was listed as a national key cultural relics protection unit. From1September 1986 to 199 1 the beginning of the year, the reconstruction was gradually carried out. Shanmen, Tianwang Hall, Daxiong Hall, Pharmacist Hall and Bell Tower have been completed one after another. Monks are open and incense is flourishing. The only remaining bronze bell (cast in South Tang Dynasty, weighing 10064 kg) in the "Three Treasures" (bronze Buddha in Youmin Temple, bronze bell in Bell and Drum Tower and iron statue in Fukenji) is now placed in the bell tower. Modern Nanchang folk songs say that "Jiangxi is poor and there are still 36 thousand copper", which is what it means.

Youmin Temple enjoys a high reputation in East Asia and Southeast Asia, with its flourishing incense and endless stream of pilgrims. Hongzhou Zen originated in Youmin Temple, which is one of the two schools of Zen and Stone School in Tang Dynasty, and opened up later schools of Buddhism such as Lin Ji, Luyang, Yang Qi and Huanglong.
