What is a generalization model?

The model of model test is not constructed according to strict similarity criteria, and ignores some factors that have little influence and some factors that cannot be changed in practice, such as water weight, so it is called generalized model.

Generalization theory

Every measurement has errors, which may come from the nonstandard measuring tools or the unsuitability of the measured objects, or from the users of the tools not grasping the essentials, or from the measuring conditions and environment, or from the uncoordinated measuring objects. In a word, there are various reasons for measurement errors, but CTT theory only uses one e to summarize all errors, and can't explain which errors or the relative sizes of various errors in the total errors. This has no clear guiding significance for the reform of measurement tools and procedures, and can only control some factors according to the examiner's own understanding, which is not targeted. In view of this situation, in the 1960s and early 1970s, Kehlenbach and others put forward the generalization theory, referred to as GT theory.
