How to divide the compass

Most people use compasses, and most people divide a week into twenty-four mountains, which is the most commonly used layer of Kong Xuan Xing Fei School.

The mysterious divination school uses a layer on the compass to divide the day into sixty-four simple divinations.

Generally speaking, Cheng Gua is a superposition of two original hexagrams of three paintings. The upper hexagram is called Gua Tian, and the lower hexagram is called Di Gua. Sweet potato includes the first, second and third hexagrams; Divine hexagrams include four hexagrams, five hexagrams and upper hexagrams. One long picture (-) represents Yang, and two short pictures (-) represent Yin.

On the compass, a hexagram only accounts for 1/64 degrees of a week, that is, each hexagram only accounts for 5.625 degrees. On the compass, it is to divide a circle into sixty-four equal squares, and each square represents a six-pointed star. And how are the six hexagrams of each hexagram distributed?

The six hexagrams of each hexagram on the compass is to subdivide the 5.625 degree occupied by one hexagram into six parts. So there are 64 hexagrams in a week, and each hexagram has six hexagrams, making a total of 384 hexagrams. The degree of each hexagram is less than one degree, and the six hexagrams are also divided into six small squares on the compass.

Generally, the hexagrams are arranged from bottom to top, but how are the six hexagrams in one hexagram on the compass distributed?

The six hexagrams on the compass are also arranged in sequence, however, there are two ways of arrangement: clockwise and counterclockwise.

Whether the six hexagrams on the compass are arranged forward or backward depends on the number of letters on the hexagrams.

The innate hexagrams matched with the numbers in Luoshu produced Ganjiu, Duisi, Lisan, Zhenba, Xuner, Kanyu, Genliu and Kunyi.

The number of each hexagram is one, three, seven and nine, arranged counterclockwise, with the first hexagram on the right and the last hexagram on the left.

The numbers of each hexagram are two, four, six and eight, which are arranged clockwise, with the first hexagram on the left and the upper hexagram on the right.

(Note: When you look at the data on the compass, you always look out from Tianchi in the center of the compass. )

On the compass, the top of each hexagram will be marked with the word "Shang", and the first hexagram will be marked with the word "Dao", which is actually the abbreviation of the first word.
