Boolean operation in CAD

ACAD's Boolean operation can only run between three-dimensional entities or between regions on the same plane. The following is only a description of three-dimensional entities, and the same is true for planar areas. 1. boolean UNION merges several entities into a new entity, which may have no common parts. Command function: click the entities to be merged one by one according to the prompt, and then press Enter to finish. 2. Subtraction For entity A, one part can be subtracted by another intersecting entity B, and the retained new entity no longer contains the public parts of entity B, A and B. The entity running Boolean difference must have public parts. Command features: after the SUBTRACT is entered, select the entity to be subtracted according to the prompt, and then select the entity to be subtracted after the input. 3. Boolean intersection (intersection) For some entities with common parts, after Boolean intersection operation, only their common parts are retained as new entities. Command function: click the entities to be merged one by one according to the prompt, and then press Enter to finish. Note: English in brackets above refers to keyboard input commands.
