Fugu County belongs to Yulin City, Shaanxi Province. Fugu County is located in the northernmost part of Shaanxi Province, at the junction of Qin, Jin and Mongolia, and belongs to Yulin City, Shaanxi Province. Its specific geographical location is across the river from Hequ County and Baode County in Shanxi Province in the east, adjacent to Zhungeer Banner and Ejinhoro Banner in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in the north, and connected to Shenmu County in the southwest. Fugu County was selected as one of the top 100 counties in western China in 2002/KLOC-0, and it has the reputation of the Golden Triangle of the Yellow River. The overall terrain is high in the northwest and low in the southeast, with four rivers, Huangfuchuan, Qingshuichuan, Gushanchuan and Shimachuan, and the corresponding Wuling flowing from northwest to southeast as the skeleton. In addition, Fugu County is the hinterland of Shenfu Dongsheng coalfield.
