Why is Guan Yun called Guan Yun?

Guanhe and Yuntai Mountain are both named after their initials.

Guanyun County is located in the northeast of Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province, and its name comes from two main elements-"Guanhe" and "Yuntai Mountain". "Guanhe" is one of the hundred rivers flowing through the south of the county seat-Guanhe. This river has played an important role in the life, agriculture and transportation of local people in history, and named the county after Guan. Yuntai is a famous scenic spot-Yuntai Mountain, located in the north of the county seat, with an altitude of about 625 meters. This mountain is famous for its precipitousness and is regarded as one of the holy places of Taoism. Both of them have unique and important significance. When naming them, combining their initials becomes what we call "Guan Yun" today.
