Where is Fan Jing?

Fan Jing is located at the junction of Jiangkou, Yinjiang and Songtao counties in tongren city.

Fan Jing, the main peak of Wuling Mountain, is 2572 meters above sea level. It is located at the junction of Jiangkou, Yinjiang and Songtao counties in tongren city, with a total area of 775. 14 square kilometers, heritage area of 402.75 square kilometers and buffer area of 372.39 square kilometers.

Fan Jing is one of the earliest places in southern China that rose from the ocean to the land, about140 billion years ago. Fan Jing belongs to subtropical humid monsoon climate zone, which preserves subtropical primitive ecosystem, ancient rare species from 70 million to 2 million years ago, and breeds more than 7 100 species of wild animals and plants. It is the only habitat of Guizhou golden monkey.

Fan Jing is a famous cultural mountain with a history of more than 2,000 years in southwest China. As early as the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, Fan Jing belonged to Chu's "land in the middle of Guizhou", Qin's "county in the middle of Guizhou" and Han's "Wuling County", and it has always been a sacred mountain worshipped by Wu Lingren. Buddhism in Fan Jing was founded in the Tang Dynasty and flourished in the Ming Dynasty. The memorial tablet written by Emperor Wanli of the Ming Dynasty praised Foshan, Fan Jing, as a "Yue school famous in the world".

Fan Jing has 4.2 square kilometers of virgin forest, which is a gathering place of various flora and geographical elements, with rich plant species, and is a typical virgin vegetation preservation site in subtropical mountainous areas in western China. There are more than 2,000 species of plants in the region, including more than 1,000 species of higher plants/kloc-0 and 2 species of Davidia involucrata. Davidia involucrata has a large distribution area and is a national key protected plant. It is a rare gene bank of biological resources in the world.

From the foothills at an altitude of about 500m to the area at an altitude of1300-1400m, it is mainly zonal evergreen broad-leaved forest, which is the essence of Fan Jing forest. Many of them are still in the virgin forest state, with dense plants and dark forests, and many rare creatures are living. Above Yu 'ao is an evergreen deciduous broad-leaved mixed forest belt at an altitude of1400-1900m, and a deciduous broad-leaved forest belt at an altitude of1900-2100m.

In Fanjing Mountain, there are many dense trees, many of which are over 1 m in diameter. There are 15 species in the flora of the world, among which there are 13 species in Fan Jingshan.
