What is the origin of the county name in Lantian County, Shaanxi Province?

In ancient times, it was famous for its rich lantian jade. Lantian County was established in the sixth year of Qin Xiangong (379 BC), which was named after the Blue Sky Mountain in the southeast of the county. It is said that "jade breeds Lantian" because the jade it produces is beautiful. The first-class jade is a ball and the second-class jade is blue. Lantian County belongs to the suburban county under the jurisdiction of Xi City, Shaanxi Province. At present, its economy is dominated by agriculture and tourism.
