You can find a clean place to put it, treat it with respect, or just find a clean water place to put it down.

The fortune teller may or may not give it, so if you really ask, you can go to the Taoist temple and ask, or you can read the name of Guanyin Bodhisattva: if there is no Guanyin Bodhisattva in the south, you can get a great blessing.
