What does it mean to have a position but no power?

It is not uncommon to see real cases in the workplace where rights are overhead and positions are vacant without real power. There are two reasons for this.

First, the superior can't trust the subordinate completely, and is afraid that the subordinate will do something that harms the company's interests and its own interests;

Second, the superior simply doesn't know what effective management is and the importance of full authorization. In order to give full play to the management ability of subordinates, in addition to giving him a big platform, he must also be given full play space.

Explain directly to the superior that the management situation you are in is very passive and ask the superior to relax more management authority for yourself. Since you are the head of the department, you should do a lot of things by yourself, instead of living in the shadow of others. This will not only kill your passion for work, but also lead to your inability to exert more abilities at all.

In other words, I have the idea of letting go, but I can't really let go because my real strength is too small, which limits my actions.
