According to the official information given by Ezhou Municipal People's Government, as of 20 14, Ezhou has three county-level administrative regions, namely Sun Yicheng, Huarong and Liangzihu, two economic development zones in gedian and Ezhou, and three streets in Fenghuang, Gulou and Xishan.

Echeng District governs eight towns including Tingzu, Bishidu, Lin Ze, Yanji, Dushan, Huahu, Yang Ye and Changgang, as well as Shawo Township, Huahu Development Zone (provincial level) and Sun Yicheng New District (based on the original Miaoxin Town, plus six villages of Shatang, Yafan, Ma Yuan, Yangling, Chihu and Ancestral Hall in Yanji Town).

General situation of Ezhou

Ezhou is located in the east of Hubei Province, on the south bank of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River. It borders Wuhan in the west, Huangshi in the east and Huanggang in the north.
