The true information of Qu Yuan in history Qu Yuan's fisherman's words offended the king of Chu.
Portrait of Qu Yuan
He can write imaginary poems, which are later called Chuci. His disciples are also very powerful, and they have all become the pillars of the country. He is a world cultural celebrity with a name that China people will never forget. Since ancient times, many literati have used his deeds to encourage themselves. The spirit of a gentleman in his bones does not insult the national prestige and is remembered by many people with lofty ideals.
Qu Yuan will be a good novelist. He tells everything like a story. No matter his sadness or his joy, no matter how much he thinks about the country, he hopes to do something beneficial to the people. He is a great man. His greatness lies not only in his thoughts on laws and regulations, his political opinions, but also in the exquisiteness of words and sentences in his Chu Ci articles, and there is a kind of purity and innocence that people can't ignore. Finally, I have to say his ending. A person may not choose the greatness of life, but when he jumped off the Miluo River, he had already chosen a sad way to die.
This kind of death is enough for people to remember, because he is Qu Yuan, everything pursues a beautiful Qu Yuan, and he has been pursuing an excellent Qu Yuan all his life. People scattered rice in the river for fear that big fish would eat him. If he knew, he must be very unhappy that the dirty fish touched him.
He is talented, patriotic and naive.
Qu Yuan's fisherman died in 299 BC. Qu Yuan persuaded the king of Chu not to go to the meeting in Qin, saying that Qin was fierce as a tiger and cunning as a jackal. An alliance with such a country is tantamount to playing with fire and setting yourself on fire.

Qu Yuan's outspokenness and the slanderous remarks of the court villains made the king of Chu intolerable to Qu Yuan. He was extremely furious with Qu Yuan: I have made up my mind to leave. If there is any gossip, I will make a decision. Such a stubborn king of Chu made Qu Yuan feel very strange. This is not the kind king of Chu I remember at all.
Qu Yuan didn't know that all the cronies around the king of Chu were bought by Zhang Yi of Qin. These cronies speak ill of Qu Yuan in front of the King of Chu all day. At this time, Qu Yuan had no place in the heart of the King of Chu. When the King of Chu arrived in the State of Qin, as Qu Yuan had expected, he was detained as soon as he entered the country.
It's too late for the king of Chu to regret it. The guards around him were disarmed and he was escorted to Xianyang, the capital of Qin State. After the hostage came to hand, Qin immediately spoke, and Chu refused. The Qin army invaded, and the Chu state lost its monarch.
Three years later, the king of Chu died of depression in the state of Qin. At the same time, Qu Yuan was exiled again. This is Qu Yuan's second and last wandering. He does nothing every day, alone, with long hair and untidy appearance. The Miluo River is his most frequent place, where the river is vast and blue, and the strong river wind may blow away his thoughts. One day, a fisherman asked Qu Yuan: You are a doctor in a country. Why do you do nothing by the river all day? Qu yuan sighed: the world is so turbid, why do I miss it? The fisherman said: Mr. Wang is full of knowledge. Why not clean up the dirt and reorganize the rivers and mountains? Qu yuan looked helpless: are you willing to let dirty things get on your clothes? The fisherman was speechless and turned and rowed away.
Soon after, Qu Yuan resigned as a fisherman according to this matter. After the fisherman resigned, Qu Yuan was no longer interested in the world and jumped into the river.
Buju Quyuan's Buju was written in Chuci, but it was not Qu Yuan's work as people imagined. On the contrary, after Qu Yuan's death, people in Chu missed him very much and wrote this poem in memory of him.
Qu yuan bu ju tu
Buju made up a story about Qu Yuan asking for divination. After Qu Yuan was exiled for a long time, he finally went to a fortune teller one day and asked him that he didn't follow the crowd. Is this good or not? He asked eight questions in a row. Qu Yuan asked this question, taking some good things and bad things as examples, and finally succeeded in persuading the fortune teller. The fortune teller sided with Qu Yuan and said it was best to obey his own heart.
There is no doubt that Qu Yuan is loyal to the monarch and patriotic. Sima Qian's writing of history can particularly resonate with Qu Yuan. Therefore, Sima Qian did not spare pen and ink when describing the story of Qu Yuan. Coupled with the true or false narrative added by later generations, we can see a complete Qu Yuan.
Qu Yuan's Buju is not written by Qu Yuan, but it accurately describes Qu Yuan's political ideal and uses beautiful words. It is the rhetoric of Chu Ci, and its central idea is thought-provoking. This is a good article worth reading. In particular, it introduced Qu Yuan to us. Between the lines, Qu Yuan set the Buddha free and gained life. Flesh and blood, he will also complain and be arrogant, and he will no longer be as narcissistic as we have learned. Qu Yuan is too cute and idealistic. Failure is inevitable. What we should learn is to pay tribute to the loser Qu Yuan.
Qu Yuan in Buju is a completely different Qu Yuan.
Qu Yuan's evocation was originally a ceremony created by the great working people in ancient times. It is said that when people die in other places, the soul can't find its way home. At this time, someone needs to bring the lonely soul home. Because of this allusion, Qu Yuan wrote an article called Evocation.

Although the copyright of Evocation is still controversial, it is also a helpless move because of its long history. It is generally believed that the original author is Qu Yuan himself.
The creation of the article has its unique historical background. When Qu Yuan wrote Evocation, the former king of Chu was deceived and imprisoned by the State of Qin. He tried to escape, but failed. His life in Qin was particularly bad, so he was unhappy and eventually died. Later, the new king of Chu succeeded to the throne, thinking only about how to achieve stability and conniving at Qin's secret invasion of Chu. Qu Yuan was very sad and angry about this phenomenon, so he wrote "Evocation of the Soul", hoping to bring back the soul of the former king of Chu from the State of Qin and express his expectation for the new king of Chu in this way. At the same time, Qu Yuan also wants to take this opportunity to prove himself. He also wants to be used by the King of Chu, and he wants to make contributions to the country.
Everyone must have guessed the end of the matter. As descendants, we have never seen a complete history, and we have no right to say how fatuous a vassal is. In a word, Qu Yuan still didn't get the respect and application he wanted. Qu Yuan was very depressed and wanted to write many articles to express his dissatisfaction and loss, so later Qu Yuan wrote more and more poems. On the other hand, Qu Yuan's "evocation of the soul" is also his first poetic theme.
Shan Gui Quyuan's "Shan Gui" is a poem written by Qu Yuan, which mainly tells the story of a charming elf in the mountains and attracts many young teenagers to seek love. In order to win back the beauty, the teenagers showed their talents in front of this woman. The title "Shan Gui" doesn't mean that there is a female ghost on the mountain. The ghost mentioned here is a moral, which refers to the respect and uncertainty of ghosts and gods in sacrificial activities.

Just as Cao Zhi wrote "Ode to Luoshen" for the heart, Qu Yuan wrote "Shan Gui" for such a woman. As we all know, Qu Yuan was born in a noble family, and even though his family came down, he also interacted with literati, nobles and other people. Qu Yuan is so talented that he is often invited to be a guest at home. Qu Yuan doesn't like socializing, but he is occasionally invited to publicize his political reform. One day, he came to a scholar-bureaucrat's house as a guest. The daughter of the scholar-bureaucrat had long heard of Qu Yuan's name, so she stood outside the door pretending to be a maid and secretly handed him the token while Qu Yuan was serving tea and water. Afterwards, the scholar-bureaucrat made an appointment with Qu Yuan to meet him in the back hill, but Qu Yuan was bent on serving the country, so he agreed with the beautiful woman to propose marriage after the successful political reform in Chu.
However, contrary to expectations, Qu Yuan's political reform seriously damaged the interests of aristocratic feudal groups and was constantly impeached. At this time, the state of Qin invaded the border of Chu again, so Chu Huaiwang wanted to send someone to kiss her, and the candidate was the scholar-bureaucrat. The young lady was full of love for Qu Yuan, so she committed suicide by jumping off a cliff on her way to Qin State.
Qu Yuan was deeply saddened when he learned the news. He created Shan Gui to vent his sadness and anger and pay tribute to his dead lover.
Qu Yuan's Spirit Qu Yuan cared about the country and people all his life. When the dynasty was an official, it really considered the needs of the people; I was always worried when I was exiled. Although life is carefree and the body is excellent, the pressure on the ideological burden can only be alleviated by sending poems.

Qu Yuan's patriotic spirit is touching. At the time of the late demise of Chu, as a person who has been exiled for more than 20 years, he can completely stay out of it and become a hermit. Even the fisherman who fished advised him to go in troubled times. Self-protection is the most important thing, but he finally chose to throw himself into the river. His love for the country is by no means what ordinary people can do. The original intention of later generations to set up the Dragon Boat Festival was to hope that the fish in the river would not eat Qu Yuan's body.
Furthermore, Qu Yuan's pursuit of "truth" in character. When I was an official, it was still black and white, and there was no room for a grain of sand in my eyes. No matter who the other party is, as long as he does something wrong, he will not hesitate to point out on the spot that it may be because of his aristocratic status that people are afraid to say anything on the surface. But so direct, how can you not attract your resentment to yourself? But if you are good at dancing, you can't be Qu Ping who can make a famous work later.
Fortunately, Qu Ping can be remembered by history. Whether it is his masterpiece, his deeds, or his spiritual integrity. And this spirit is exactly what our country needs most at the most dangerous time.
Qu Yuan's people are in history, but his spirit is the most precious wealth left to future generations. It is also the most unlikely thing to be forgotten by the long river of history.
