Brief introduction of Xiaoyue town

Xiaoyue Town is located in Shangyu District, Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province. Xiaoyue Town has a long history and beautiful scenery. According to legend, at the end of the Spring and Autumn Period, Gou Jian, King of Yue, stationed troops here. Up to now, there are still relics in the back hill of Xiaoyue. During the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period, Qian Miao, king of wuyue, killed poisonous snakes and married his youngest daughter here, hence the name "Xiaoyue". In history, Xiaoyue once had such a grand occasion as the riverside scene in Qingming Festival, and there was a poem saying that "the small bridge promenade in Shiban Street leans against the building". Up to now, there are still relics such as Mojianjing, Fulongshan and Zhu Tong Niangniang Temple in Xiaoyue, and there are Chen Chunlan's former residence and Xiaochunhui School in the territory.
