Why did Huang rescue Lu Xun trapped in the Eight Arrays?
Huang is a famous figure in Miannan. He has three characteristics: first, he is brilliant and has a high academic level. He was sensitive, eager to learn, brilliant and well-informed, and had many friendships with celebrities such as Pang Degong and Si Mahui. He is a great man in Jingzhou area.
Second, the background is hard. Huang's political views are unusual. Liu Biao, a senior manager in Jingzhou, has something to do with him. Liu Biao's wife and Huang's wife are sisters, and Cai Mao, commander of Jingzhou Water Army, is also Huang's eldest brother. It is because of this iron net that Huang has great influence in Jingzhou.
The third is a good eye. Because he was Zhuge Liang's master, and Pang Tong's uncle Pang Degong also valued Zhuge Liang, Zhuge Liang had the honor to meet Huang under the recommendation of Pang Degong.
According to legend, Huang had long heard that Zhuge Liang was ambitious and smart, so he wanted to impart his knowledge to Zhuge Liang, and his daughter was the same age as Zhuge Liang, so he secretly decided Zhuge Liang as his son-in-law. But he has never met Zhuge Liang, so he wants to find an opportunity to examine Zhuge Liang's intelligence.
I heard that Zhuge Liang went to Xiangyang with his uncle, so he dressed up as a fortune teller and set up a fortune-telling pavilion in the south gate tower of Xiangyang to tell the fortune of passers-by. On this day, when Zhuge Liang passed the south gate after school, he saw many people talking about an old man around Kan Kan, and everyone was absorbed. Zhuge Liang was curious and went to see it. Huang met Zhuge Liang and wanted to give him divination, but Zhuge Liang wanted to make things difficult for the old fortune teller. So he went to the moat to catch a frog, held it in his hand and asked, "Do you think this frog is alive or dead?" Huang was surprised. If he says the frog is alive, Zhuge Liang can crush it with his hands. If he says the frog is dead and Zhuge Liang lets it go, the frog is alive and kicking again. Huang admires Zhuge Liang for being in charge of life and death at an early age. Later, he not only gave his knowledge to Zhuge Liang, but also offered to betroth his daughter to Zhuge Liang.
Of course, legend has it that there was a jingle at that time, "Don't choose a wife for Kong Ming, but inherit an ugly girl", which means don't marry an ugly girl like Zhuge Liang.
How ugly is Huang's daughter? The history books tell the mystery in four words: yellow and black skin. Indeed, her hair is yellow and her skin is black. According to the aesthetic tradition of China people, she is definitely an ugly girl.
Moreover, when Huang proposed to Zhuge Liang, he directly said that his daughter was ugly, and Zhuge Liang agreed to this marriage without hesitation. The reason is very simple: On the one hand, Zhuge Liang took a fancy to all the powerful political backgrounds and contacts of the Huang family, which was of great help to his career. On the other hand, Huang's daughter is a real talented woman, although she doesn't flatter the Lord.
So the villagers laughed at Zhuge Liang for marrying an ugly girl, but Zhuge Liang accepted it calmly. Facts have proved that Zhuge Liang's decision is correct. First of all, the married life of Zhuge Liang and Huang Yueying is very happy. Huang Yueying is a good wife. At the same time, she also invented wooden dogs, wooden tigers and other machines. Later, inspired by his wife, Zhuge Liang discovered the fighting tools and sharp weapons such as Mu Niu Ma, Zhuge Liannu and Wolong Dan, which transported grain and grass to Shu.
It can be said that the ugly wife Huang Yueying is the strong backing and favorable support for Zhuge Liang's future political development.
Secondly, Huang did play a "paving stone" role in Zhuge Liang's growth. Si Mahui's inspiring words of promotion were given to Zhuge Liang and Pang Tong's two apprentices: Long Fu and Feng Chu, and one of them could win the world. The reason why it is widely circulated and known to all children is obviously inseparable from Huang's strong support and publicity. It is precisely because of this that Liu Bei's three visits to the cottage and the later three-point world were born. In short, it can be said that Huang indirectly contributed to the establishment of Shu State.
What is even more amazing is that Huang did an amazing thing: let Lu Xun go.
Legend has it that Zhuge Liang helped Liu Bei establish Shu in Sichuan and Shu, and the arrogant Guan Yu was careless and died tragically. In order to avenge Guan Yu, Liu Bei did not listen to Zhuge Liang's dissuasion and attacked Wu with the strength of the whole country. As a result, Lu Xun of Soochow burned 700 Li, and Liu Bei fled in a hurry.
In the pursuit of Liu Bei, Lu Xun strayed into Zhuge Liang's eight-array map. Sand and stones are flying and dark clouds are flying all over the sky. Just when Lu Xun was in a hurry, he suddenly saw an old man standing in front of the horse and said with a smile, "Does the general want to leave this array?" This old man is Huang, Zhuge Liang's father-in-law.
Later, with the help of Huang, Lu Xun was able to escape from the eight positions. Later generations are puzzled by this. As Zhuge Liang's father-in-law, why did Huang help Zhuge Liang's arch-enemy Lu Xun escape from the Eighth Array?
In fact, Huang's letting Lu Xun go was not on a whim or out of kindness. After all, Huang once said to Lu Xun: "My old gentleman was kind all his life, and he couldn't bear the general to fall into this trap, so he left home."
This is of course an expressive statement. In fact, Huang let Lu Xun go and was helping Zhuge Liang. You know, Zhuge Liang heard that Lu Xun had set fire to Liu Bei's camp for 700 miles, and at that time he gave a six-word sigh: the Han Dynasty was extinct!
Zhuge Liang's six-character exclamation also revealed the mystery of Huang letting Lu Xun go. The resourceful Huang has clearly seen through the world. If the troops are deployed in the situation of Shu in Dongwu, Cao Wei's army will obviously take the opportunity to tap Dongwu. If so, Dongwu will be in danger. If Soochow dies, Shu will die, too. It's only a matter of time. This is the fundamental reason why Zhuge Liang deeply feels that the end is coming and laments that "the Han family is lucky." In order to save Wu and Shu from being annexed by Cao Wei, Huang couldn't help jumping out of the secluded forest, conquering the world and letting Lu Xun go.
