Brief introduction of Shiyashan Park in Quanzhou

The former site of Quanzhou Agricultural School, located on Wenling Road, was once the former residence of General Shi Lang and the "autumn and winter" garden in the Four Seasons Garden (also collectively referred to as the "East Garden"), and now it has been transformed into six artistic conception areas, such as osmanthus fragrance, golden autumn chrysanthemum rhyme, nostalgia for the past, thin shadow of Meilin, and walking on the path to find seclusion. According to historical records, during the reign of Emperor Kangxi, General Shi Lang, the prefect of Fujian Navy after Jinghai, once chose a site in Quanzhou, a famous city, and carefully built a private garden in four seasons with the poetic meaning of "spring outing, enjoying green lotus ponds in summer, drinking yellow wine in autumn and singing snow poems in winter". At the beginning of stone gardening, local craftsmen were hired to make gardens in the south of the Yangtze River, piling up rocks, winding paths and slopes in the garden, reaching the steps, digging ponds to manage water, and planting flowers and trees in different seasons. The flowers and trees are dense and full of vitality, which is quite remarkable, reflecting the fineness and ingenuity of the gardener's gardening. When the garden is completed, the host often enjoys the scenery in the garden in autumn and winter with guests and friends, and feels the pleasing leisure. With the development of history, the autumn and winter garden, also known as the "East Garden", has been used as the campus and agricultural teaching venue of Quanzhou Agricultural School from the 1930s to the mid-1990s. With the relocation of Quanzhou Agricultural School, the environment here has been lacking in regulation and management for many years, during which weeds are overgrown and messy and desolate. This year, the news that Quanzhou municipal government decided to transform the old agricultural school into Shiyashan Park spread, which aroused widespread concern from all walks of life. At present, the overall planning scheme has been determined. The guiding ideology of the overall planning of Shiyashan Park is to emphasize the harmony between man and nature on the basis of inheriting the historical context, realize the goal of harmony between man and nature in the garden layout, and provide elegant and popular connotation of Shiyashan for tourists. Plant landscaping mainly reflects seasonal culture. According to the overall planning scheme determined at present, Shiyashan Park will give priority to plant landscaping, reflect the traditional seasonal culture by using plant seasons, and plan the division of artistic conception areas in combination with the layout of some artificial buildings and garden sketches to achieve the cultural taste of the park. The planned elevation difference between the east entrance of Shiyashan Park and Wenling Road is 4.95 meters, but the elevation difference in the park has not changed much. The east entrance is built with 23 steps, and the natural coincidence of the building and the steps serves as the "frame view" of the entrance, which can make tourists stop and look up, buffer their mood of entering the park, reach the extension step by step, and gradually create space suspense for tourists. This is the guiding concept of the main entrance. There are retaining walls 60-80 meters long and 4.95 meters high on the north and south sides of Wenling Road at the east entrance, which makes the vertical interface of the park closed and monotonous. However, the retaining wall is a hilly landform in history, which appeared after the construction of Dongxiaozhi (Wenling Road) in the 1970s. The ancient banyan and magnolia planted by Shilang in Gaogang are precious ancient and famous trees at present, as well as Erythrina, Mulberry and Longan. These deep-rooted ancient and famous trees can neither be transplanted nor cut down. After on-the-spot investigation, multi-party analysis and comparison, the designer of the overall planning unit plans to use the illusion-like leaky window landscape wall, combined with the vertical greening of mixed planting of Parthenocissus tricuspidata and Bougainvillea, to break the interface of a large area of high walls, and focus on the treatment methods of overhead gatehouses and doorways at the main entrance. In the plan, the entrance and exit on the west side will be changed to the northwest side of the park vegetable lane, and the artistic conception areas with different seasons and different cultural connotations will be formed through the division of the park road network. On the south side, the 7-meter-wide entrance road to the south gate was developed at the border of the original agricultural school. When visitors enter the south gate, they can be diverted to the east, west, north and south, and enter their own different artistic conception areas. Three scenic spots cherish the memory of General Shi Lang as the former residence of General Shi Lang. The construction of Shiyashan Park is inseparable from the restoration of Shi Lang's former residence. In the master plan, three scenic spots are designed around this theme: Songguan Painting and Calligraphy Institute, Shi Lang's former residence and Qintai Yin Qing. The West Garden was once named "Song Yue", so the Song Pavilion was named Painting and Calligraphy Institute. "Calligraphy and painting always value morale". As the core artistic conception area of Shiyashan Park, the Painting and Calligraphy Institute can provide exhibition space for painters and painters, and also provide elegant appreciation places for tourists in the park, so that tourists can get pleasing spiritual enjoyment in poetic artistic conception. The planning of the painting and calligraphy institute is based on the "Yan Hotel" in the former residence of Shi Lang. According to the functional division of the Painting Academy, the building has three main floors. The east and west floors are used to display poems, books and galleries, the middle hall on the second floor can be used as the exhibition hall for outstanding painters and painters, and the reception room on the third floor. The former residence of Shi Lang is a place with dense buildings in the whole park in the overall planning scheme. According to legend, after Shi Lang became an official, there were many aides and guests from far and near, so he chose the site to the south of Chrysanthemum Garden, and then built a museum and residence, with nave as the main body, which was the living room for entertaining guests. There are two rooms in the west hall, the back hall and the back patio are used as martial arts venues in sunny days and rainy days respectively. The small room is three bedrooms with two bathrooms on the side. There are six rooms in front of the hall, one on the left and one on the right, for sons and nephews to study and teachers to stay. There are huge Taihu stones scattered in the courtyard, or plantains and bauhinia are planted. The front hall and the front hall are actually an empty hall with a gate. There is a stone embankment outside the door, long and wide, which is not only magnificent, but also convenient for cart parking. At the exit of the west end of the city, there is a carved bird wooden archway with elegant style, which is specially built outside the door as a wall screen. Now Shi Lang's former residence has been in disrepair for a long time. The plan suggests that the cultural relics department report it and try to repair it according to its former residence regulations. In the planning, it is planned to build a music stage on the east side of Shi Lang's former residence in the park, named "Qintai Yin Qing". It is said that in the Winter Garden, Shi Lang often held orchestral performances with staff and guests in this pavilion, accompanied by songs and dances, and expressed his feelings through the sound of the piano. Now setting up the piano platform as the artistic conception of Shiyashan Park is also the inheritance of historical context, so as to achieve the elegant artistic taste of Shiyashan. Five artistic conception areas to enhance cultural taste In the overall planning scheme, the design unit divides the park into five artistic conception areas by using manual construction and the layout of garden sketches, and strives to achieve the cultural taste and artistic conception zoning of the park. These five areas are: sweet-scented osmanthus, golden autumn chrysanthemum rhyme, secluded bamboo path, thin shadow of Meilin and secluded path. Pass through Qu Yuan's Autumn Moon Gallery and arrive at the artistic conception area of "osmanthus fragrance". There are purple osmanthus trees, eight laurels and osmanthus fragrans scattered in this area, and Chinese tallow, Pistacia chinensis and red maple can be planted at the same time. This chrysanthemum viewing area can be used as a supplement to the flowering period. It goes to the Double Ninth Festival every year, which is not like spring, but it is better than the garden in spring. In addition to the chrysanthemum season, it can be used as a chrysanthemum garden cultivation base at ordinary times, and can also be used as a bonsai exhibition area in each season. "Bamboo Path leads to a secluded place" is a part of the park road network. As a green plant on both sides of the garden road, the bamboo path should be undulating in vertical design, with Dianthus arranged on both sides and winding along the path, looming among pedestrians. From Qintai to the artistic conception area of "Meilin Film" in Winter Garden, the layout of Meilin Film can plant plum blossoms in various fields along the southwest wall, so that tourists can appreciate the taste along the way from four climax levels: Xun Mei, Mei Dao, Mei Appreciation and Mei Pin. Peach can be planted in the garden, so that it can blossom in succession in winter and come in spring, and it has the charm of "all love can't be caged, and an apricot comes out of the wall".
