Allusions of three white watermelons

Sanbai watermelon is a traditional specialty in Guangzong County, Xingtai. According to historical records, Sanbai watermelon has been cultivated since the Tang and Five Dynasties and has a history of nearly a thousand years. It is named "Sanbai" because its skin is like jade, its flesh is like fat, and its seeds are like pearls.

According to folklore, this kind of melon was given by the Queen Mother. As early as the Ming Dynasty, its traditional planting village built the Queen Mother Temple, named "Queen Mother" village, but in recent years it was renamed "Wang Mu" village. At present, Sanbai Watermelon is no longer planted in other places, but it has spread to this day only in Wei County. Coupled with the superior climate and unique soil conditions, it became a local specialty and was once designated as a tribute in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
