Apart from the rumor that he likes to kill people, in the whole book Eight Dragons, there are descriptions of killing three people, Jin Xier who robbed the valley, the soldier armor of Dali Palace, and Gu Ducheng, the four guards of Dali (who fell off a cliff and was washed away by water).

Talking about Jin Yong's novels, Ni Kuang once said that the most honest person in Dragon Eight Branches is the crocodile god in the South China Sea, with a lovely personality. In the Eight Branches of Dragon, I only remember the evil things he did, but because he was wrongly listed as the third and said that he was not a villain, Zhong Wanchou's servant who was killed was Jin Xier. Indeed, in our opinion, Yue Laosan really doesn't look like a villain, but he is one-track-minded and a little too straight. He saved Mu Wanqing from Yun Zhonghe for Duan Yu. But in fact, most of the four villains have a tragic past. At the same time, there are not many vicious descriptions of them in the book, so that everyone does not have much resentment.

Later, he became independent and self-reliant and returned for revenge, so he always opposed Duan. If he is the protagonist, his experience is also very inspirational. In addition, he helped Duan Yu pick up girls, played Go for Xu Zhu, and helped Agu Xiao Feng find his father. He's just a good guy.

Ye Erniang, the second child, does all kinds of evil. She was taken away from her children and committed suicide as soon as she finally recognized her son. In the original version, her evil deed was to steal someone else's child and kill it, which is unforgivable. In the new version, when she was tired of playing, she stole it and put it in someone else's house. (But when I think of kidnapping children and breaking up my family, I think Ye Erniang is probably the most guilty. )
