Fortune telling in Chaoyin Temple _ Divination in Chaoyin Temple
There are many ancient towns around Chengdu with convenient transportation, which is less than two hours away from most urban areas. These ancient towns with a long history and different styles are the most typical, vivid and intuitive portrayal of Bashu local culture. Perhaps the ancient town is not as original as you think, and some even need to polish their eyes to find the ancient meaning, but the ancient town in Sichuan has at least two keywords that they are proud of: comfort and food.

Tips for Pingle Tourism
Transportation: There is a shuttle bus to Pingle Ancient Town every day from the Tourist Passenger Center Station (formerly Xinnanmen Bus Station), which takes nearly 2 hours by car. You can also take a bus to Qionglai at Jinsha Station and then transfer to Pingle Ancient Town.
Accommodation: The ancient town has a unique style in the morning and evening. If you are not in a hurry, you can stay at the inn in the ancient town for one night.
Gourmet: Milk noodle soup, Sun Wangxue, Ji Bo, roast chicken with bamboo shoots, bamboo shoots, corn steamed bread, wild vegetables and so on.
Others: Every Gregorian calendar 1, 4 and 7 are market days in pingle town.
Pinggu, called Pingluo in ancient times, is located at18km southwest of Qionglai, more than 90km away from Chengdu. Zhuo Wenjun's classic love story "Yellow" was born in Qionglai.
The Baimo River, which runs through the town, is the soul of this ancient town. This gentle and clear river can be seen from a distance or played nearby. A row of half-lying bamboo chairs by the river, drinking tea by the river and resting your eyes can still make your feet flow in summer. When the stream is shallow, you can roll up your trouser legs to play in the water and catch crabs by the river. Pingle town is rich in bamboo, and there are many bamboo weaves for sale in the town. Bamboo rafts drifting on the river are made of local bamboo. This raft is designed according to an ancient waterside pavilion style. Boating on the river, the breeze is blowing on my face, and my eyes are full of blue rivers and lush trees. I feel like I will melt in this green.
The Leshan Bridge across the river is very spectacular. In ancient times, Pingle was once an important town on the Southern Silk Road. In the past, ships full of goods shuttled under the bridge. This seven-hole stone bridge was built in the Qing Dynasty. Bridge opening is not a common semicircle, but a peach shape. Due to the use of sandstone, the bridge is reddish, and it looks dignified and bright against the houses with clear water, green trees and green tiles on both sides.
There are many ancient banyan trees by the river. The ancient banyan tree at Xingqiaotou has a history of 1500 years, with a canopy that covers the sun and shade everywhere. Needless to say, as always, the bamboo chair teahouse, the quiet and tolerant banyan tree and its sheltered street life have made Pingle the most classic scene.
There are several stone streets by the river, and the small streets paved with bluestone are simple and elegant. Diaojiao building facing the street, bunk beds, black walls with blue tiles, upturned corners and cornices. The whole body of blue tiles stretches for two miles, and it is patchwork with wooden lattice window grilles, showing the vicissitudes of time polishing. The sidewalks on both sides of the street look very old. Everything in the blacksmith's shop, scissors shop, tailor's shop, photo studio, paper mill, sandals shop and clock shop is very old: a big two-corner tape recorder, a shopkeeper with black-rimmed glasses, an alarm clock used as a child, a pair of couplets with white characters on a black background, "Eat, drink, be kind to others and go forward bravely", as if time had gone backwards for a while.
Take Luogu Town to dinner.
Tips for Luodai Tourism
Transportation: You can take bus No.219 in Chengdu or take a bus from the Tourist Passenger Transport Center (formerly Xinnanmen Bus Station) to Luodai. It takes about 1 hour to drive, and you can return to Chengdu that day.
Accommodation: Luodai can't find a hotel. Mainly hotels and inns, the price is not expensive. You can get it for tens of dollars.
Luodai is the nearest ancient town to Chengdu. The migration movement in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties and the history of "Huguang filling Sichuan" made the Hakkas from other places take root here, and Luodai gradually developed into the most concentrated town of Hakkas in western China.
There are four halls in the ancient town, namely Guangdong Hall, Jiangxi Hall, Huguang Hall and North Sichuan Hall, with different architectural styles. Guangdong Guild Hall, also known as "Nanhua Palace", is a landmark building in Luodai Town. There is a couplet hanging in the central hall of the guild hall: "Bayezi smokes the local flavor of western Sichuan, and Hakka people listen to the ancient sound of Wen Zhong." The pendulum of Longmen array is connected by Hakka dialect, and a small detail vividly depicts the harmonious integration of foreign Hakka culture and local Bashu culture. In a popular phrase, it is mashup. Residents of Guzhen speak Mandarin to tourists from other provinces, Sichuanese to tourists from this province and Hakka to their own people. If you are also a Hakka, you can feel a different kind of kindness when you speak Hakka with the local people you meet.
Walking through the ancient town, you can actually see at a glance that the buildings on both sides of the road have been renovated. There are all kinds of delicious food along the street: goose eggs, golden cakes, mugwort, spicy rabbit heads, nine bowls, spicy bean curd, sad bean jelly, cold noodles, hairy twist, bean flour, smoked goose with oil, bowls of incense and so on. There are all kinds of freshly picked fruits and wild vegetables on the roadside stalls. You will not be disappointed when you come to Luodai with the purpose of offering sacrifices to the five zang-organs temple.
Sad jelly is one of the most popular snacks in Luodai. Tourists in the market have many different versions of the word "sad": jelly is too spicy; The queue is too long; There are too many varieties in this shop and the "memory" is limited. Maybe you will find a sad version of your own when you come. People who don't like spicy food can have a bowl of cold cakes or happy ice powder. The cool and sweet taste can effectively relieve spicy stimulation. Faced with these cheap snacks, the most sad thing is that my appetite is not enough.
Huanglongxi stole it for a long time.
Longxi tourism strategy
Transportation: There is a shuttle bus from the tourist passenger center station (formerly Xinnanmen Bus Station) to Huanglongxi, and it can return to Chengdu on the same day.
Gourmet: diced yellow pepper, roasted elbow, pearl bean curd, fried fish and shrimp, wild vegetables, etc.
Others: resolutely refuse people who want to take you to see Buddha (Xinjian) and fortune telling.
Huanglongxi is located at the intersection of Fuhe River and Luxi River in Shuangliu County, Chengdu. There is an old saying: "Huanglong crosses Qingjiang River, and the real dragon is hidden inside." Therefore, Longxi was named.
The curved pavement of the ancient town is paved with bluestone, and there are many real old houses in rows of antique houses. Most of these old houses with wooden columns and green tiles were built in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties. There are also several yellow Castanopsis trees (banyan trees) in the town, which are flourishing and covered with red strips of cloth for people to pray for.
Zhenjiang Temple, Chaoyin Temple and Gulong Temple are all located on the main street of Huanglongxi, forming a pattern of one street and three temples. On the gate of Gulong Temple, there is a neat and intact ancient stage with hanging feet, which was built in the early Qing Dynasty. It is the only one of many ancient stages in Huanglongxi. There are rattan chairs and coffee tables on the stage, and the strong leisure wind makes it a place to drink tea.
The bright garlands on tourists' heads are a unique scenery of Huanglongxi. From a distance, it looks like a flower river flowing in the old streets and alleys. Sitting on the small bench, most of them are old women in cloth clothes, and colorful flowers are more dazzling against the green leaves. Someone hung a wreath on the mottled old wooden pillar, which added some vitality to the vicissitudes of the old house.
After several years of development, the commercialization of Huanglongxi is an indisputable fact. If you pay attention, it is not difficult to find the folk customs behind the silence in the noise and commercial erosion. In front of many small shops, corn leaves are wrapped in strings of leaves, and the old woman wearing straw sandals and the old man knitting bird cages are immersed in them, ignoring the flowing scenery, the handmade cloth shop of blue calico, antique bamboo and wood, the big stone mill for grinding soybean milk and colorful embroidered shoes. At this time, you only need to open your eyes to find the beauty.
Although the Yellow River has no stunning scenery and magnificent rivers, nor is it suitable for pure antique exploration, its spirit of carrying out leisure to the end is the same as that of Chengdu. On both sides of the road, yes.
