However, we didn't use headbands at first. 1955, we introduced the Type 55 military uniform. In the 55-type military uniform, although there are also large eaves hats. But there was no headband on the big hat, which showed that everything was very practical at that time.

1965, we introduced the Type 65 military uniform, and the original Type 55 military uniform stopped using. Because the 65-type military uniform uses a liberation hat, there is no big hat at all, so there is naturally no hat belt on the hat. At that time, uniforms and combat uniforms were still integrated, so the 65-type military uniform was relatively loose. The distinctive features of this uniform are the red cap badge and red collar badge, which were standard at that time.

There are also many problems in the Type 65 Army, so in 1985, China introduced the Type 85 military uniform. Two years later, the 87-style military uniform came out. Please note that since the 85-style military uniform, the hat belt has appeared on the big hat, of course, for decoration. Moreover, you can see the rank by looking at the headband, because the headband of the general officer was golden yellow at that time, and the headband of the school officer and the junior officer was silver gray.

The 97-style military uniform is also a derivative of the 87-style military uniform, which inherits a series of characteristics of the 87-style army. The hat band used for a long time on the big hat is different this time. In fact, many countries in the world use hats. In this respect, we are only in line with the world. However, due to the different requirements of different countries, the color of the hat band is also different.

At present, we use the 07 military uniform, and the hat of the 07 military uniform is still the hat belt. And similar to the last one, the headband of the general's hat is still golden yellow. By the way, there is no hat band on the soldier's big hat. In the past, officers had headbands on their hats, but now sergeants have headbands on their hats, but only soldiers don't.
